Prepositions

I was at the mall yesterday

My basketball was lying in the closet

The coffee can was hanging over the fireplace

A cat got stuck between the branches

You caught me going under the fence trying to escape

My toothbrush is in the bathroom

Have you been under my desk all the time?

I lay the book on the table, in case you forgot.

You can see the statue right beside that little store on the corner

It’s a lot hotter by the fire than over here.

Rich or Happy?

I think the more important thing is to be happy. If you’re happy and satisfied with your life, I think you would have more choises and more uppertunities in your life, and I think people would like you better as well. When you choose a profession, you should choose something you like to do, and not just because of the money.
If everything that matters to you is money, you ain’t got much of a happy life, and being happy with yourself, makes other people happy to, even without knowing it.

I was ill while doing this, so I did not write as much as I should. At least I wrote something.

When people hear that all the clocks have stopped, they will automatically associate it with the time stopping. Of course that is not true, but I think it would be very confusing!
Not only will we not be able to follow the rutines we’re used to, and since routines is a big part of our nature, things could, and will, go wrong.
For example if you’re supposed to wait for 10 minutes before you go to work, and you notice that your clock does not move, you might be late. But of course your boss will not notice since his clock has stopped to!
You’ll have no overview at all, and we would have to conciter beginning to use new tools and methods that will give us information on what time it is. If this was to happen, we would have to look back in time and see what people used for clocks when these convenient things we call clocks were not used.

I think the whole world would be caotic, messy and unorganized.
If you’re on a bus or a train, the time will not be shown on the wall-board and people will not know if they’re late.
I also think I would have a hard time getting up in the morning, because I would probably get up waaay to soon becase I would be so worried about being late for school, or I would be late because I overslept.
Except from the whole society breaking down, it could be pretty cool if all the clocks stopped to!:D
“I don’t know what time it is” or “my clock was showing the wrong time” are some of the most common, and stupid, excauses you can make up, but now you can actually use them and they would not sound stupid! hehe:)
And I wouldn’t have to get up so early in the morning either, becasue I do not know what time it is. Personally, I think sleeping is the best thing you can possibly do!
I can sleep for over 12 houres if I want to.
If all the clocks stopped, I could  sleep as long as I want to, and I do not have to show up at certain places when I’m supposed to. I could just ditch everything and not feel guilty about it. That would be just great! But I also think this way of living could be very boring after a while, thing would constantly crash, and it would not take long until we do not know what year or month we’re in.
If this happened, I would try to fix the clocks. And when I succeed, (’cause I know I will!), I will be a big hero and everybody will look up to me. That would be pretty OK. Haha…

Of course, this all depends on how long these stupid clocks decide to remain broken! :D

The Plane Crash

I could feel the Brazilian sun burnig on my face and the white, pure sand on my hands. This was my only day off from my work-trip to Brazil, and I was looking forward to spend the whole day on this beautiful beach.
That was about to change dramatically. I was quickly interrupted and surprised when I heard people running around the beach screaming and shouting. The sun that was shining on my sunglasses just seconds ago, was now replaced by a huge, dark shadow. I quickly got on my feet and looked up to se what was going on.
The sight that met me, was rather horrifying.

A plane was heading for the beach, getting dangerously low. In about a minute it would hit the surface near the shore, and I believed that there was nothing nobody could do at this moment to prevent it from happening.
I did not care to grab my stuff before I took off and left the beach, I knew that the safest thing to do, even though this was quite exciting, was to go someplace safer. I ran up to an old tree house beside the beach where I could see what was going on. The plane was now about to crash, and I noticed that the second half was almost ripped off! A few seconds later, I heard a big “BOOOOM!” I covered my ears and waited until it was over.
I looked down, and  I could hear policecars and ambulanses outside, and I decided to go back to hotelroom.

The next day I woke up early and went down to the beach to check on the cinditions.
Some early-bird policemen were still investigating the place. I heard on the lokal radio that the plane that crashed yesterday was a passenger-flight with 350 people abord, no survivors.
I was quite shocked and thought I might go down to the wreck and take a look.
For some strange reason, the accident-area had not been secured and everyone could have a look. I went in to the back of the plane, the part that had fell off, and noticed a door which had not been opened during the investiation… I was not sure wheter to open it or not, but my curiosity took over my rationality. I slowly opened the door, and I am never going to believe what I just saw…

Soccer Comedy

I decided to post the lyrics to a song that just hit me right in the heart the first time I heard it.
It’s called Tears in heaven, written and performed by Eric Clapton. He wrote this song to his son, and I think it’s really sad. His son fell out a window from 11th floor in the middle of New York city. When I hear this song, it makes me think about people I have lost, and how things would be if they were still alive.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
‘Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?

I’ll find my way
Through night and day,
‘Cause I know I just can’t stay
Here in heaven.

Time can bring you down,
Time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart,
Have you begging please, begging please.

Beyond the door,
There’s peace I’m sure,
And I know there’ll be no more
Tears in heaven.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
‘Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven.
